Magdalena Senestrari,
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has a professional background as a translator. She traveled throughout Argentina and internationally and published numerous articles on visited places. She studied tourism and environmental education and began to promote itineraries such as horseback rides, treks and programs with an emphasis on ecology and cultural exchange. She collaborated with the consultancy agency Ecomanagement dedicated to experiential learning in natural environments. As a counselor in Humanistic Astrology she has a deep interest in human development. This added to her interest in socio-cultural integration has marked a new path in her work. She believes the trip is a means to improve communication and the relationship factor. Her network of contacts throughout Argentina created Tierra Natural. At present she presides the NGO Asociación Tierra Unida. |

Julieta Salvi,
She is a graduate in Psychophysical Counseling at Holos Institute where she teaches Group Facilitation and Psychophysical Theory of Character. She managed a Therapeutic Center in Buenos Aires and presently works as a Psychophysical Therapist. She took courses in tourism and worked at Utell International at the Customer Service Department. She counts with a wide experience in alternative and adventure trips. She works in the area of Sustainable Tourism for Fundación Plan21 in charge of a project called "Recreating Tourism" destined to facilitating sustainable development processes in local and indigenous communities. She is a founding member of the NGO Asociación Tierra Unida. She contributes with her professional knowledge and personal sensitivity to introduce children and young students into a discovery path in interpersonal and socio-cultural issues. |

Hernán Uriburu
He was born at the town of Tabacal, in the Province of Salta, he is a pioneer of social and adventure tourism in Argentina. He has an in-depth knowledge of the land and mindset of the people of the Northwest. After having spent many years managing ranches or fincas in the valleys of Salta, Hernán began to organize horse-riding tours based on the expertise achieved in his own rides into the mountains. He is a well-known story-teller. His anecdotes and stories grant his trips a relaxed atmosphere, making communication among travellers an easy issue. He works hand-to-hand with the people living in the mountains whose help is essential for the logistics of his trips. |

Luis Aguilar
He is an expert andinist, with ascents to several important peaks in the Andes and has been leading groups into the mountains of the Northwest for many years. He presided the Club de Amigos de la Montaña (Mountain Friends’ Club) and the Federación Argentina de Montaña (Argentinean Mountaineering Federation). Luis masters rescue techniques both in ice and in rock environments. He organizes tours in the area of Iruya, a little town inhabited by an indigenous group, the "Kollas", in the high plain or Puna of the Northwest. He owns Puna Expediciones -an ecotravel organization- and a mountain hostel -the “Condor”- located on a strategic ravine with an awesome view. |

Luis Liste
He was born in Almafuerte, Province of Córdoba. He grew up in a rural environment where horses where a part of everyday life. He specializes in non-aggressive horse breaking methods, horse therapy and horse training and recovery. He is involved in such horse activities as Riding Without Fear for children and adults and horse riding tours in the mountains. Luis considers himself as a “permanent researcher of the potential healing power existing in man-horse relationship”. He gradually introduces people into a meaningful approach and communication ritual. He owns a School for Riders at Las Rabonas, Province of Córdoba. |

Norma Beredjiklian
NORMA BEREDJIKLIAN was born in Buenos Aires and studied History and Archaeology at San Francisco State University, California. Over the years and while in the USA she had the opportunity to work in the fields of education, the Arts and tourism, and to travel extensively throughout the world. For over a decade she was Editor in Chief of the Journal for the genus Viola, published by The American Violet Society, an organization of which she was founder member and president. On the subject of violets and violas. As a cultural tourism consultant Norma renews her commitment to ecological tourism and her love for Archaeology and History in the Central Area of Argentina, where she lives at present.

Luis R. Volkmann
He is a native of Córdoba and Professor of Geography and Biological Sciences. He has just published Vines in the Cordoba Hills and is co-author of Most Common Climbers and Creepers in the Sierras Chicas. Together with Dr. Canals, he has been working on a detailed study of butterfly populations in the Cordoba hills. Other activities include the Education and Reforestation Project in the Cordoba Sierras Grandes’ schools conducted by Dr. D. Renison. He is also part of the Support Program for the Recovery of the Lago San Roque Basin, conducted by the Los Algarrobos Civil Association. He is responsible for the Achala Country Schools Environmental Education Workshops and the Serrano Forests Study and Conservation sponsored by the Whitley Laing Foundation. He is also a founder member of Ecosistemas Argentinos. By encouraging the observation of butterflies, local flora and fauna and birdwatching, he´s helping the promotion of a much needed local environmental education and introduces the general public to our regional biodiversity.

Gustavo Giai
Born in the city of Bariloche. He has explored the Lake District and the Patagonian Steppe since he was a child. His father -an Ornithologist- and grandfather -a well-known Naturalist Physician were his first guides and teachers. He continues the family tradition in breeding and training their own horses. He is a very good riding coach and polo sport trainer, something he has also been carrying out in Mongolia with youths teams. For many years now he has been organizing rides aiming at integrating people with the awesome nature of Patagonia – the wild Steppe, the forest region, mountain peaks. In most of his horseback rides adventurers have the opportunity to meet the people living in the mountains. Gustavo is the person to make this experience fluid and prosperous. |

Clemente Matías Arko
He was born in Bariloche and owns and manages Eco-family.com, an ecological travel agency. He has been a pioneer in Nordic skiing in Argentina and participated in the Olympics Games. Clemente is a Phys Ed Teacher and Tourist Guide. He has guided school groups into the mountains for many years, and was the first one to organize Nordic ski lessons in Mount Otto. Since 1996 Clemente has been the manager of Refugio Neumeyer (a mountain station owned by the Bariloche Andean Club). He designs and directs winter and summer activities in the Valley of Challhuaco focusing on environmental interpretation. |

Teodoro Aguer
He has lived a long time in San Carlos de Bariloche. Teodoro specializes in ecotourism and adventure tourism. He is a Physical Training Teacher and Mountain Guide. He studied Sustainable Tourism Management in the ngo Fundación Unida. He has an important background as tour leader of groups in Argentina and South Africa. At present he organizes programs in the Andean Region of Patagonia and provides consultancy services in outdoor and mountaing activities. |
